A note from Simon

I registered Goodtextures in 2007 and launched the first public version in 2010. Version 5.0 keeps the original spirit of the site: free, practical texture resources for artists, students, hobbyists, game developers, and 3D creators. The new rebuild is actively being populated and tested before going live properly.
